Let’s get to know each other!

Hey there, I’m Rachel Santos, an LPC based in Arizona, here to support adults from all walks of life.
My Education & Experience:
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition Management from Arizona State University, and a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Prior to pursuing my masters degree, I dedicated several years to community mental health, working closely with at-risk youth and families. After obtaining my masters degree I have worked as a counselor in private practice and in community mental health supporting clients in creating the lives they desire and deserve.

My commitment to professional development is reflected in my diverse training background. I have completed certifications in Sand Tray Levels 1 & 2, Maternal Mental Health, Inner Child Theory, Sound Healing, Buddhist Psychology, Equine Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Currently, I am working towards becoming a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), further enhancing my ability to support individuals through trauma healing and recovery.
Me, as a psychotherapist:
My passion lies in helping individuals navigate emerging adulthood. As well as assisting women though all stages of life, through the journey of womanhood. Specializing in anxiety, stress reduction, perinatal and postpartum issues, body dissatisfaction, low self-worth, eating disorders, college/emerging adult stressors, and trauma healing.

I’m here to empower you to find inner peace amidst life’s chaos. In our sessions, I’ll create a warm, open, safe and holistic space where you can explore your needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we’ll delve into the roots of your struggles, develop coping strategies, and foster a greater sense of harmony within yourself. My goal is to guide you, where you can face life’s challenges with confidence and grace.
Me, as a human:
I have been with my husband for more than 12 years, I’m a proud mom of two daughters and a stepmom to a wonderful son. I find solace and joy in tending to my urban garden and experimenting in the kitchen making homemade meals. My family and I are always on the lookout for the next great street taco joint or hole-in-the-wall restaurant.
While I relish quality time with loved ones and cherish quiet moments at home, I’m also working on exploring movement that align with me like kickboxing, water aerobics, and gentle stretching. I also offer a sound bath once a month in my local community. As an avid book lover, my shelves are filled with books on cooking, healing, spirituality, and the mysticism of women. Plus, you’ll often find me delving into books on buddhism and mindfulness, which keep me grounded, centered and connected to source.
